シェーン・マガウワン(Shane MacGowan: 1957-2023)が酒を飲みながら見たかどうか分からないのですが、自分の目で見たロンドンは、ジョニー・ミッチェル(Joni Mitchell: 1943-)の『サークル・ゲーム(The Circle Game)』のように季節がうつろい、人も変わっていきます。

一番言いたかったことは、シェーンがいなくなって、こんなに衝撃を受けるとは思ってもみなかった、ということです。
