Takehara Pistol (1976-) is a Japanese singer and songwriter, who, in 1999, formed a two-man band called “Yakozen” with Hirochika Hamano and eventually disbanded in 2009. Takehara went on to act as a solo artist, performing in a movie as well.

題名にも入っている「ポーグス」というのは、1980年代初頭にロンドンで結成されたバンドThe Pogues（ザ・ポーグス）のことです。また、歌詞中の「シェーン」というのは、そのボーカルのシェーン・マガウワン(Shane MacGowan: 1957-2023)で大好きなアーチストの一人です。
