ハンク・コクラン(Hank Cochran: 1935-2010)と一時コクラン・ブラザーズを組んでいたエディー・コクラン(Eddie Cochran: 1938-1960)ですが、血縁関係は全くないそうで、最初にコクラン・ブラザーズを知ったときは、すっかりだまされていました。

それはさておき、夏といえば学生はバイトです。私も、学生時代にバイトを一生懸命して、当時相当額を手に入れたと記憶しています。

その記憶よりもさらに大きな記憶は、その後サラリーマンになってもらった給料がバイト時代の半分程度で嘆いたことです。

手取り給与を実労働時間で割って時給300円台という数字をはじき出して、うれしそうにしていた「部長」がいたこともいい思い出です。
