1972年にトマト・レーベルから発売されたタウンズ・ヴァン・ザント(1944-1997)のLP「ハイ・ロー・アンド・イン・ビトゥイーン(High, Low and In Between)」に収録されている曲です。

ハイ(high)は高く、ロー(low)は低く、そして、イン・ビトゥイーン(in between)はその間、すなわち、どういう空間でも、ということなのでしょうか。

たまに年に1回程度、2メートルぐらいの高さをスーパーマンのように手を広げて飛んでいる夢を見ます。ちょうど人の頭よりちょっと上を飛んでいるのです。

人の頭より上にいる、ということは、普段人から頭を押さえつけられているということなのでしょう。納得できます。
