ダウンタウンのコントに浜田扮する息子が万引きをして、それを母親役の松本がスーパーの事務所に引き取りに来るというものがありました。母親がしきりに犯罪を犯した息子を責めるのですが、最後まで息子に対する愛情が勝ってしまうというものでした。

この曲を聴くといつもそのコントを思い出してしまいます。罪を犯した放蕩息子に面会をする母親、罪の大小に無関係に注がれる息子への愛情、そして、手土産の笑顔。

ここには被害者は登場しませんが、あるいはいないのかもしれませんが、その被害者にも愛情が注がれていたはずです。
